Winter Wonderland Baby Shower Decorations

The best part of planning a themed baby shower? Pulling together all the fun decorations! It’s what brings the party to life (aside from your guests, of course). And there’s plenty of inspiration out there when it comes to winter wonderland baby shower decorations. Below are some of our favorite looks from real events, plus where to shop to recreate your own.

Shimmery Backdrops

Whether you’re creating a backdrop to a dessert table, photo booth or the party at large, hanging silvery, shimmery fabrics is an easy way to create eye-catching decor. Add some sparkling tree decorations and you’re well on your way to designing a winter wonderland baby shower your guests will never forget.

Balloon Walls

We fell hard for this winter wonderland balloon wall—it’s an Instagram post just waiting to happen. Can’t you imagine Mom-to-Be nestled in this velvet chair, ready to open her shower gifts? The variety in balloon sizes helps add visual appeal, as do the silver confetti balloons sprinkled into the mix.

Balloon Garlands

If an entire balloon wall isn’t on your mood board for winter wonderland baby shower decorations, consider a balloon garland instead. It offers a similar visual impact (but takes up less space) and frames a dessert table perfectly.

Sparkly Table Settings

It’s easy to get wrapped up in selecting centerpieces for your tables, but don’t forget about table settings too! Guests are going to look down, so there might as well be something special to meet their eye. Silver confetti coins are ideal winter wonderland baby shower decorations—they’re cheap, they’re versatile and they pack a visual punch. Bonus: Consider putting a snowflake cookie at each place setting as a sweet party favor.

Rustic Touches

If you’re hoping for a more rustic winter wonderland baby shower, turn to the woods for inspiration. We love the use of carved animal figurines as table decor, as well as the snowflake garlands and white bottle brush trees. They all add up to create a homey yet modern take on the winter wonderland theme.

Shop the look: Mini Bottle Brush Trees, $5, Etsy.com

Winter Wonderland Baby Shower Centerpieces

If you’re planning to serve a seated meal at the baby shower, a critical part of your party decor are the table centerpieces! Whether they’re big statement pieces or more subtle touches, centerpieces bring beauty to any tablescape. Here are some standout winter wonderland baby shower centerpieces to go with your snowy theme.

Tall White Florals

White floral arrangements in tall white vases make for classic, elegant winter wonderland baby shower centerpieces. You can go as big as you’d like with these, depending on how large your tables will be (and how large your budget is). The bouquets above incorporate sparkling twigs for extra effect.

White and Green Florals

Not all winter wonderland baby shower centerpieces have to be entirely white, of course. Take these florals from Bouqs, for example. The white buds still exude a wintry feel, but the greens bring a certain freshness to the florals and play well to a more rustic theme.

Buy it: Grace arrangement, $84, Bouqs.com

Silver Candlestick Holders

If large bouquets of flowers just aren’t in the budget, opt for an arrangement of candles instead. Slender white candlesticks in candle holders of varying height make for gorgeous winter wonderland baby shower centerpieces and cast a delicate light to set the mood. You can add to the tablescape with smaller vases of florals or even simple white branches.

Shop the look: 3-Pack of Glass Candlestick Holders, $23, Amazon.com; Snowy White Birch Branches, $25, Amazon.com

We love this unique take on winter wonderland baby shower centerpieces. Here’s proof you can stray from table florals and still make a statement! Give a nod to the snow-capped trees outside with these abstract, velvet-wrapped cones. They can be arranged with other table decor or serve alone as modern, minimalist centerpieces.

The delicate white pastries work perfectly with the party theme and will melt like snowflakes in your guests’ mouths.
